No es aconsejable andar llegada la noche por el Camino de Santiago, aunque la ciudad de León sea una excepción.
It is not advisable to walk in the middle of the night along The Camino de Santiago, although the city of León is an exception.
El Camino Francés se abre paso por sus calles iluminadas por los adornos de Navidad. Siempre fue un placer pasear por su Barrio Húmedo. Esta noche de manera especial. El intenso frío refresca la mente y acelera nuestro paso hasta la taberna más próxima donde calentarnos. No hay carta de restaurante que no seduzca, y la plaza está llena de locales.
Para descansar, nos alojamos en la Hospedería Monástica de peregrinos. Un lugar privilegiado para huir del bullicio nocturno, a tan sólo cinco minutos de la impresionante catedral.

The Camino Francés makes the way through its streets illuminated by the Christmas ornaments. It was always a pleasure to walk through its Barrio Húmedo. Tonight, a special way. The intense cold cools the mind down and speeds up our step towards the nearest tavern to warm up us. There is no menu that does not attract us, and the square is full of restaurants.
In order to rest, we lodge ourselves in the Hospedería Monástica for pilgrims. A privileged place to avoid the nocturnal bustle, only five minutes walking distance from the impressive cathedral.
