Antes de comenzar esta reseña, debo confesar que no tenía ninguna esperanza con este libro. Al ver la portada, las ganas de leer la historia se redujeron a un 60%; estaba al fondo de mi biblioteca, pero un día al verlo nuevamente dije: ¿porque no?

Cuando leí la sinopsis nuevamente algo en mi me dijo: debes leer este libro. Con Bad Romeo, esperaba encontrarme un romance típico que desean vendernos, pero lamentablemente, estaba equivocada. Creo que siempre estoy equivocada acerca de muchos libros, películas y otras cosas.

Algo que llamo me atención fue el nombre del libro, Bad Romeo creo que a muchos que lo hemos leído se nos vino a la cabeza la famosa obra literaria de William Shakespeare, Romeo y Julieta. Respetare sus opiniones si les gusta esta obra literaria, pero, ¡Diablos! Creo que es una de las peores historias de amor que ha existido en todo el mundo literario; no es trágica personas, es inmensamente llena de malas decisiones solo por algo que ellos creen que es amor.

Creo que me he salido del tema; sin embargo, me encontré con una lectura agradable en este libro por el simple hecho de mostrarnos unos personajes reales. Es típico encontrarnos con libros con la misma temática que te aburre: chico deprimido por pasado trágico, padres bla, bla, bla lo mismo de siempre. Aunque en este libro mostraron en verdad una persona con una vida un poco trágica. Este libro tiene mucha temática del señor Shakespeare, obvio, pero en él no encontraremos los personajes que alaban a este libro solo por ser una de las obras literarias más conocidas; oh no, en este libro vas a encontrar a personajes que el amor trágico de Romeo y Julieta no es de su agradado, e incluso, veremos opiniones con buenas bases.

Me sorprendió encontrarme con un libro que te hacia reír con facilidad, no tenía que exagerar para hacerte reír o transmitirse los sentimientos que los personajes estaban experimentando en ese momento, fue maravilloso leer este libro. Nos muestran a dos personas, Cassie e Ethan, con personalidades tan diferentes, pero tan iguales; en gran parte de los libros New Adult nos dan una protagonista femenina con poco carácter y a un personaje masculino que su único objetivo es ser el chico sexy y malo, pero con Bad Romeo te encuentras con grandes sorpresas.

Desde el comienzo, Cassie logro encantarme con sus pensamientos y acciones la hace un personaje legendario que hilarante humor sexual pero no vulgar (esta chica estaba siempre caliente) se gana el lugar de uno de los personajes que más me ha agradado. Los autores de New Adult se han encargado de crear personajes femeninas planas, sin carácter que te sofoca, sin embargo, Leisa crear una historia con las cosas correctas, aquellas cosas que hacen de un libro memorable.

Y ¿Qué decir del Holt? Nos dan un personaje al cual Cassie nos recuerda lo sexy que es que por primera vez no es el típico personaje sexy y malo, es un personaje sexy con un pasado doloroso y no es el que ustedes creen, sino creo que es un pasado que a cualquiera que nos hubiera tocado vivirlo, actuaríamos igual que él. Y no solo nos dan un personaje con un pasado aceptable, también nos dan un personaje con una personalidad; no es aquel personaje que se la pasa solo siendo malo y eso, y que solo se quiere meter entre las bragas de nuestra protagonista. No, es un personaje real.

El libro está narrado de dos maneras: pasado y presente. Nos muestran los sentimientos y hechos narrados por Cassie pero en el pasado nos cuentan su historia de amor, como todo comenzó y que ocurrió para que en el presente ella odie aquel hombre que una vez amo. En muchas ocasiones, los autores que crean libros con diferentes tiempos, tienden volver en ocasiones tedioso la lectura, pero esto no ocurre con Bad Romeo.

Los personajes secundarios que van apareciendo logran ser los personajes secundarios perfectos, en donde nos muestran un poco de sus personalidades y deseos sin ser aquellos personajes de relleno.

La manera en como ocurren los sucesos, siempre nos muestran la increíble química de Cassie e Ethan que desde los primeros capítulos es fácil de ver. En gran parte del libro, se puede notar aquella tensión sexual que incluso su maestra de teatro lo puede notar por ello ambos son escogidos como Romeo y Julieta. Estos dos fueron hechos el uno para el otro, pero esta historia no es solo color de rosa, por algo se llama Bad Romeo.

Es una lectura ligera que puedes leerlo en menos de dos días, claro, sin descanso. Con párrafos con contenido que te pueden hacer sonrojar, Bad Romeo es un libro sexy y dramático que se adapta a cualquier gusto de las personas que desean leer algo nuevo y sencillo. No debes esperar para leerlo, al final quedaras con las ganas de más al igual que yo. ¿Qué estas esperando para leerlo?

Before beginning this review, I must confess that I had no hope with this book. Seeing the cover, the desire to read the story was reduced to 60%; this book was in the back of my library, but one day when I saw it again I said: why not?

When I read the synopsis again something in me said: you must read this book. With Bad Romeo, I expected to find a typical romance that they want to sell us, but unfortunately, I was wrong. I think Im always wrong about many books, movies and other things.

Something that caught my attention was the name of the book, "Bad Romeo". I think many people have read the famous literary work of William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet. I respect their opinions and appreciate this literary work, but damn it! I believe it is one of the worst stories of love that has existed throughout the literary world; It is not tragic people, it is immensely full of bad decisions just for something that they believe is love.

She can have all the faith in the world. All Im capable of giving her is a bad Romeo."



I think Ive gotten off topic; However, I found a pleasant reading in this book for the simple fact of showing us some real characters. It is typical to find books with the same subject that bores you: boy depressed by tragic past, parents blah, blah, blah ... same old thing. Although in this book they actually showed a person with a rather tragic life. This book is very much about Mr. Shakespeare, obviously, but in it we will not find the characters who praise this book just for being one of the best known literary works; Oh no, in this book you are going to find characters that Romeo and Juliets "tragic" love is not his pleasing, and even, we will see opinions with good bases.

I was surprised to find a book that made you laugh easily, did not have to exaggerate to make you laugh or convey the feelings that the characters were experiencing at that time, it was wonderful to read this book. They show us two people, Cassie and Ethan, with such different personalities, but so equal; most of the New Adult books give us a female character with little character and a male character whose only goal is to be the sexy and bad boy, but with Bad Romeo you find great surprises.

From the beginning, Cassie managed to enchant me with her thoughts and actions makes her a legendary character with a hilarious sexual but not vulgar humor (this girl was always hot) it earns the place of one of the characters that has pleased me the most. New Adult authors have been commissioned to create female characters flat, characterless that suffocates you, however, Leisa create a story with the right things, the things that make a memorable book. Well not too much.

And what about Holt? They give us a character to which Cassie reminds us how sexy it is that for the first time is not the typical sexy and bad character, is a sexy character with a painful past and is not the one you believe, but I think its a past that anyone who would have lived would have acted just like him. And not only do they give us a character with an "acceptable" past, they also give us a character with a personality; Is not that person who is only going through being bad and that, and that only wants to get between the panties of our protagonist. No, hes a real character.

But he irritated me more than once. Stupid Holt!

The book is narrated in two ways: past and present. They show the feelings and facts narrated by Cassie but in the past they tell us their love story, how it all began and what happened so that in the present she hates the man she once loved. On many occasions, authors who create books with different times, tend to make reading sometimes tedious, but this does not happen with Bad Romeo.

The secondary characters that appear manage to be the perfect secondary characters, where they show a bit of their personalities and desires without being those characters of filling.

The way the events occur, they always show us the incredible chemistry of Cassie and Ethan that from the first chapters is easy to see. In much of the book, you can notice that sexual tension that even their theater teacher can notice you both are chosen as Romeo and Juliet. These two were made for each other, but this story is not just rosy and roses, for something is called Bad Romeo.

It is a light reading that you can read it in less than two days, of course, without rest. With paragraphs with content that can make you blush, Bad Romeo is a sexy and dramatic book that fits any taste of people who want to read something new and simple.
