Al llegar a Villafranca del Bierzo me di cuenta de que es un pueblo lleno de rincones para observar al detalle.
When arriving to Villafranca del Bierzo I realized that it is a village full of corners to observe in a retail way.
Lo primero que hice es ganar altura para situarnos. Arriba, dominando el valle, ya me esperaba la iglesia de Santiago y un albergue realmente acogedor. Ese día de invierno pocos peregrinos llamaban a su puerta, aunque casi podía adivinar los ecos del bullicioso ajetreo del verano.
Desde allí fui bajando por sus empedrados hacia el centro, parándome en cada escalón que me hacía recordar el ya forzado paso de los peregrinos con la mente puesta en el descanso, y en la enorme etapa siguiente que corona el paso del Cebreiro hacia Galicia.

The first thing that I made is to gain height to situate myself. Above dominating the valley, there was the church of Santiago and a cozy albergue. That winter day few pilgrims knocked at its door, almost I could guess the echoes of the noisy bustle of the summer.
From there I kept going down for its sett paving towards the center, stopping in every step that made me remember the already forced step of the pilgrims with the mind put in the rest, and in the enormous following stage that looked at the pass of the Cebreiro towards Galicia.
