Entre dos puentes · Between two bridges

   
  Este fin de semana estuve de cumpleaños en una pequeña parroquia lucense llamada Rábade. Nada más cruzar el río Miño por el puente de la carretera, me di cuenta que escondía un buen paseo por sus alrededores.

  This weekend I had a birthday party in a litthe village called Rábade near Lugo. Just crossing the Miño river by the bridge of the road, I realized that it hid a good walk through its surroundings.

    No tardé mucho en acercarme hasta la orilla y disfrutar de un precioso atardecer. Una bella campiña asomaba entre dos viejos puentes. Uno de piedra más antiguo y el que llaman el Puente de Hierro. Por éste último pasa la vía del tren que une cuatro de los Caminos a Santiago.Cuatro estaciones en las que he visto bajar a muchísimos peregrinos de madrugada. Con el sueño en sus caras y el brillo en los ojos de quien se sabe al comienzo de una gran aventura.

  Ponferrada como inicio en el CAMINO DE INVIERNO, Sarria en el CAMINO FRANCÉS, Lugo abrigando al CAMINO PRIMITIVO, y por último, la estación de Guitiriz, a un pasito del CAMINO DEL NORTE.

   It did not take me a lot to approach the bank of the river and to enjoy a precious dusk. A beautiful countryside showed between two old bridges. One of stone older, and the one that people call the Iron Bridge.For this one last bridge passes the railway that joins four of the Caminos de Santiago. Four stations in which I have seen to bring many pilgrims down in the early morning. With the dream in its faces and the brightness in the eyes of the one who knows at the beginning of one great adventure.




   Ponferrada as beginning in THE CAMINO DE INVIERNO, Sarria in THE CAMINO FRANCÉS, Lugo protecting to THE CAMINO PRIMITIVO, and the last one, the train station of Guitiriz, a short way away from THE CAMINO DEL NORTE.
