¡Buenas noches amores! Hoy os traigo, tal y como os prometí, el primer post sobre mi viaje a la Costa Oeste de Estados Unidos. Como nuestra aventura duró 16 días y son demasiados días para explicarlo todo en un único post, he decidido contaros mi aventura en varios posts.

Good night! Today I share with you, as I promised you, the first post about my road trip to the West Coast of USA. Our adventure took 16 days and I will explain you my adventure in some posts.





Nuestro avión destino a Los Angeles salía a primera hora de la mañana y estaba previsto, llegar a Los Angeles a las 7 de la tarde. Pero nuestra aventura no empezó del todo bien, ya que el vuelo entre Los Angeles y Nueva York se canceló después de estar 4 horas dentro del avión, ya que estaba cayendo una gran tormenta en Nueva York y no permitían despegar a ningún avión. Así que nos volvieron a la terminal y como no salía ningún vuelo hasta el día siguiente, tuvimos que pasar la noche en la terminal.

Al día siguiente, conseguimos que nos dieran unos billetes para llegar a Los Ángeles previa escala en Detroit. Al final conseguimos llegar a las 4 de la tarde, habiendo perdido un día de nuestro viaje. Cuando llegamos a los Angeles estábamos agotados, ya que no habíamos dormido la noche anterior por el frío que hacía en la terminal del aeropuerto. Aún así, decidimos ir a dar una vuelta por Hollywood Boulevard a ver the Hall of Fame, el Dolby Theatre y el Teatro Chino.

Our flight to Los Angeles took off at first hour of the morning from Barcelona and we would arrive there about 7 p.m. But our adventure didnt start so well, because our flight from New York to Los Angeles was cancelled after being inside the airplane about four hours, because there was a big storm in New York and any flight could take off. Then, we returned to the terminal and we had to spent all the night in the airport.

The next day, we get a new tickets to Los Angeles with one stop in Detroit. We arrived to Los Angeles at 4 p.m., but we lost one day of our trip. Although we were very tired, because we couldnt sleep during our night in the airport, we decided to go to Hollywood Boulevard and we saw the Hall of Fame, Dolby Theatre and Chinese Theatre.













Al día siguiente, comenzamos nuestra visita por el Dowtown de los Angeles. Fuimos hasta el Staples Center que es donde juegan los Lakers, continuando por el centro financiero, donde entramos en la biblioteca nacional que nos recomendaron por su decoración interior. Después fuimos a ver the Broad y el Walt Disney Concert Hall, que es muy similar al Guggenheim ya que el arquitecto es el mismo (Frank Gehry).

The next day, we started our visit to the Dowtown of Los Angeles. We went to the Staples Center where play Lakers, Financial District and we entered to the National Library that some people recommended tu visit for his decoration. After that, we went to see the Broad and the Walt Disney Concert Hall that its very similar to the Guggenheim because it was made by the same architect (Frank Gehry).



















De ahí, fuimos a ver la entrada de Chinatown y al Pueblo, que es como un pueblecito de estilo mejicano, que cuenta con su iglesia y está lleno de puestos para comprar cosas. Al lado del pueblo se encuentra Union Station y justo al lado se encuentra el Japan Town, donde nos quedamos a comer.

After that, we went to see the Chinatown Bridge and El Pueblo that its a little town of mexican style and has its own church and its full of little shops where you can buy things. Near to El Pueblo is situated Union Station and a few meters is the Japan Town where we stopped to eat something.



Por la tarde, fuimos a ver el City Hall que es donde se encuentra el ayuntamiento. Seguramente os suene el edificio ya que aparece en algunas películas como Superman. Además, se puede entrar y subir hasta la planta 27, donde se tienen unas vistas espectaculares de la ciudad.

At the evening, we went to see the City Hall that Im sure that you has seen before, because it appears in some films like Superman. In addition, you can enter to the building and go to the 27th floor and you have amazing views of the city.







Y después fuimos hasta el centro comercial The Grove y al Farmers Market, que es como un centro con un montón de puestos de comida de todo tipo, japonesa, italiana, francesa, dulces, etc. Os recomiendo que si vais a los Angeles, vayáis porque os va encantar.

After that, we went to the Grove and Farmers Market that its place with a lot of little restaurants with all kind of foods: Japanesse, Italian, French, sweet things... I recommend you to do a visit to the Farmers Market, because you would love it.





El jueves aprovechamos para hacer el tour de la casa de los famosos, que te llevan a ver el cartel de Hollywood, algunas de las principales casas de los famosos, Bervely Hills, Bel-Air y Rodeo Drive. La casa que me más me gustó fue la de Steven Spielberg y la de Richard Gere. Además, nos enseñaron el hotel donde va buscar Richard Gere a Julia Roberts en Pretty Woman y la iglesia de Sister Act. Un tour muy recomendable.

On Thursday we went to do the movie star houses tour where they show you the Hollywood Sign, the main movie star houses, Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Rodeo Drive. My favorite house was the house of Steven Spielberg and Richard Gere. In addition, they showed us the hotel where Richard Gere went to find Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and the church of Sister Act. I recommend this tour!

















Ya por la tarde, fuimos a Universal Studios. La primera atracción que fuimos a ver fue el tour que te hacen por los platós donde te enseñan los decorados, cómo hacen las inundaciones, la lluvia, etc. Pero lo que me dejo impactada, fue el castillo de Harry Potter, parecía real y la atracción es espectacular, como si estuvieras en un torneo de Quidditch. También hay una zona ambientada en los Minions y la atracción también es 100% recomendable. La verdad es que disfruté como una niña y ojalá hubiéramos podido pasar todo el día, para mi gusto nos falto tiempo.

At the afternoon, we went to Universal Studios. The first we saw was the tour of the stages of the movies and they showed us the setting, how they do the floods in the films or the rain. But I was shocked by the Harry Potter Castle, it seemed real and the attraction was amazing like you were in a Quidditch game. Another attraction that I recommend you is the attraction of the zone of Minions. I enjoyed like a child and I wish I could spend all the day in the park, because I think we need all the day to see it all.





















El viernes pusimos rumbo a la zona de playas para ver la playa de Santa Monica y Venice Beach. La verdad es que el muelle de Santa Mónica me encantó desde el primer instante y me quedé con ganas de subirme a la Noria.

On Friday we went to the Beach zone to see Santa Monica Beach and Venice Beach. I loved Santa Monica Pier since the first sight and I wanted to ride on the wheel, but this time it wasnt possible.

















Por la tarde fuimos a Venice a ver sus canales con sus preciosas casas y todas ellas con su embarcadero. Una zona super tranquila en la que no me hubiese importado quedarme a vivir.

En cambio la playa de Venice, estaba llenísima de gente y es la playa donde ves gente de todo tipo: vendiendo, bailando, haciendo deporte, con sus mascotas... Un espectáculo digno de ver.

At the afternoon we went to Venice to see its canals with beautiful houses and all of them with their own pier. A very quiet place that I dont matter to live there.




In the otherside, Venice Beach was full of people and its a beach full of life where you can see people doing sport, dancing, with animals, selling... A place to see it at least once in your life.













Y para acabar el día, decidimos ir al Observatorio Griffith, ya que es uno de los puntos donde se puede sacar una buena foto del cártel de Hollywood. Y de allí nos fuimos a cenar al Farmers Market, ya que era nuestra última noche en Los Angeles.

To finish the day, we decided to go to Griffith Observatory, because its one of the places you can take a good picture of the Sign of Hollywood. After that,we went to dinner to Farmers Market. It was our last night in Los Angeles.



El sábado por la mañana, hicimos las maletas ya que tocaba poner rumbo hacia a San Francisco. Pero antes de irnos de Los Angeles, fuimos al museo Madame Tussauds, ya que con el tour de la casa de los famosos nos regalaron una entrada para el museo, y la verdad es que nos lo pasamos genial haciéndonos fotos con los muñecos de cera.

On Saturday, we did the bags because we had to drive to San Francisco. But before to go, we went to Madame Tussauds, because with the ticket of the movie star houses they gave us two tickets for this museum and I have to say that we spent a good time taking picture with the wax dolls.







Y no podía irme de Los Angeles sin conseguir una foto en el Hall of Fame con la estrella de Audrey Hepburn, así que nos fuimos a buscarla y me hice la foto.

I couldnt go of Los Angeles without a picture with the star of Audrey Hepburn in the hall of fame, then we went to search it and I took this pic.



Y esta es la primera parte de nuestro viaje. El próximo viernes tendréis nuevo post con la segunda parte del viaje.
