Dia 1, Lunes 16 de Junio de 2014. Day 1, Monday 16th June 2014
El primer dia llegue a media mañana y me dirigí directamente a la parada de Asakusa. Allí busque unas taquillas donde puedes dejar la maleta, cogi la camara y salí a investigar. Justo en frente del templo Sensoji vi un gran edificio donde, aunque no es una oficina de turismo, te daran un montón de información sobre la ciudad y los festivales, también en la siguiente calle hay un Starbucks. A las 16:30 encontre la salida A5 y esperé a que Mika y su amiga llegasen para enseñarme esa parte de la ciudad. Mika es una señora magnifica que me contactó a través de Couchsurfing; me enseñaron el templo mientras pudieron practicar inglés conmigo, Mas tarde me invitaron a cenar alli cerca y pasamos un buen rato.

The first day I arrived around 12:00 and i went directly to the metro station Asakusa. There I searched for some lockers where I could put my bags, I tokk the camera and went to investigate. Just in front of the Sensoji temple I saw a big building where they will give you a lot of information about the city and festivals eventhough it is not a tourist info office, also next to it there was an Starbucks. At 16:30 I found the exit A5 and I waited for Mika and her friend to arrive; they were going to show me that part of the city. Mika is a wonderful lady that contact me by Couchsurfing; they showed me the temple and meanwhile they practiced English with me. Finally they invited me to have dinner and we had a great time.

Hasta llegar al templo, hay diferentes puertas, en medio un precioso mercado donde puedes encontrar muchisimas cosas desde tiendas artesanales hasta los gatitos tipicos.

On the way to the temple, there are many doors, in the there is a beautiful market where you can find many things from artesanal shops untill the typical cats.

Nos acercamos al templo y alli saqué mi fortuna...¡ mala fortuna! ¡Vaya forma de comenzar el viaje! Peor no hay problema, até mi mala fortuna en el templo para que se conviertiera en buena fortuna :)
If you get bad fortune, you alway can tie you fortune and let it convert into good one:)
We aproached to the temple and I tried my fortune.... Bad fortune! What way to start my trip! But no problem I tieded my fortune to the temple so it woul become lucky :)

Al lado, me llevaron a otro templo mas pequeñito; un templo sintoísta. Antes de rezar debes realizar un ritual, en el que con unos cazos te purificas. Primero debes lavarte las manos con el cazo, la boca y terminas lavando el cazo; te acercas al altar, haces dos reverencias, dos palmas con las manos y rezas. Una vez has terminado, haces otra reverencia.

Next to this big temple, there is another much more little; a Shintoist temple. Before praying you must do a ritual, where with the help of some ladle. First you must clean your hands with the ladle, then the mouth; you get approached to the altar, the you make two reverences, clap your hands twice and you pray. Once finished you reverence again.

Antes de que anocheciese y nos fuesemos a cenar dimos una pequeña vuelta por el barrio y hasta encontramos unas maikos que estaria de regreso a casa. ¡También encontre este dulce en forma de pez que estaba relleno de chocolate y estaba delicioso! Para acabar el dia Mika me ayudo a llegar a ala estacion Ikebukuro donde conoci a Kento mi Couchsurfer host en Tokyo.

Before it was dark and we would go to have diner, we walked around the neighborhood a little bit and we founded some maikos that probably would be coming back home. Also, I bought this sweet with fish shape that had chocolate inside and it was super delicious! Finally Mika helped me to arrive to Ikebukuro Station, where I met Kento my Couchsurfer host in Tokyo.
