My Thoughts
I love new, refeshing reads, I mean, there are so many similar stories out there that makes me wonder where have gone people imagination? Well, maybe this book is the answer to all my pleas for a refreshig read. So, after a long time of books looking like one another, Im so beyond happy to read one so complitely new and absolutely awesome. Fading into the Shadows is a fast-paced read with plot twists, mystery romance and a well building world that keep me interested until the very end.
To resume what this book is about, Ill say that there are two teens that have to fight some fallen constellations into the world of Sollaris (yeah! stars can walk among the people in this world) before they become part of it and disappear forever from Earth.
This book has a little bit of everything; its kind of creepy and spooky with the whole "alluring children into the shadows" thing, but it also has a heart-warming romance (though even when Im not particular fond of love triangles, I kind of like how romance was aproached in here). What I like the most of this book was the action; I enjoyed so much how Ella and Every became part of the war and how they handle it all. The action is present until the end and it was so envolving that I felt I was actually fighting in Sollaris.
Speaking of it, I enjoy how this world was building. Ive said plenty of times that I love Greek Mythology, Ive read a lot of it so, but I enjoy how this book is a different aproach from the gods and all the usual things that are taken as inspiration. This read was like read the early Percy Jacksons books with lot more of mystery, so I really like it so much.
I absolutely recommend this book; It has everything I like in a book so you should give it a try.
