My Thoughts

Funny. Romantic. Sexy.

The best way I can describe this book. I can always count on R.S. Grey to deliver a feel-good type of read when Im in a mood for a rom-com, so with likable characters and a funny plot, this book is the perfect recipe for a quick afternoon read. My only regret is that I didnt read it sooner, as I didnt see it appeal, even though, Miss Grey became one of my go to romance authors.

La mejor manera en que puedo describir este libro. Siempre puedo contar con R.S. Grey para crear libros para cuando estoy de humor para una rom-com, así que con personajes agradables y una trama divertida, este libro es la receta perfecta para una lectura por la tarde. Lo único que lamento es que no lo leí antes, ya que no le vi atractivo, aunque Gray se convirtió en uno de mis autores románticos favoritos.

I felt so connected to Josephine, I share so many interests with her ad I was inspired by her story, her struggles and the resilience of with she faced the obstacles. As for Julian, he was the perfect gentleman, sweet and reliable, that cared deeply for his sister, and would do anything to protect her, like putting his whole life on hold just to support her and get the help she needed. The love between Jo and Julian wasnt an easy one to have, since they were coworkers, but Im happy that after fighting for it, it won in the end.
Me sentí tan conectada con Josephine, comparto mucho intereses con ella y me sentí inspirada por su historia, sus luchas y la resistencia con la que enfrentó los obstáculos. En cuanto a Julian, él era el caballero perfecto, dulce y confiable, que se preocupaba profundamente por su hermana y haría cualquier cosa para protegerla, como poner toda su vida en espera solo para apoyarla y obtener la ayuda que necesitaba. El amor entre Jo y Julian no fue fácil de tener, ya que eran compañeros de trabajo, pero estoy feliz de que después de luchar por ello, al final ganó.

Hilarious. Sexy. Addictive.

I probably enjoyed this book more than the previous one because its more fun and much more entertaining thanks to the banter between both main characters. They have a lot of chemistry and many sexy moments, but I feel that theres not much romance, things in this aspect were too rushed for my taste and in the end Im not sure if they fit as a couple, specifically, I dont know if she was worth all the things he did for her. Both could not be more different from their best friends: fierce, stubborn, witty, and I dont like hearing "no" in response, which confronts them every time they are together.

Probablemente disfruté este libro más que el anterior porque es más divertido y mucho más entretenido gracias a las bromas entre ambos personajes principales. Tienen mucha química y muchos momentos sexys, pero siento que no hay mucho romance, las cosas en este aspecto fueron demasiado apresuradas para mi gusto y al final no estoy seguro de si ellos encajan como pareja, en concreto, no sé si ella valió todas las cosas que él hizo por ella. Ambos no podrían ser más diferentes de sus mejores amigos: testarudo, feroces, ingenioso, y no les gusta escuchar "no" como respuesta, que los confronta cada vez que están juntos.

This is a troop of haters-to-lovers that I tend to love. I read this book very fast and I was very sad when it was over. Perfect for an afternoon of reading with a hot drink.
