Blurb:

Virgin. Sex addict. Daredevil. Alcoholic. Smartass Jackass. Her five friends are about to be filmed. Reality TV, be prepared.
Rose Calloway thought she had everything under control. At twenty-three, shes a Princeton graduate, an Academic Bowl champion, a fashion designer and the daughter of a Fortune 500 mogul. But with a sex addict as a sister and roommate, nothing comes easy.
After accepting help from a producer, Rose agrees to have her life filmed for a reality television show. The Hollywood exec is her last chance to revive her struggling fashion line, and boundaries begin to blur as shes forced to make nice with a man who always has his way.
Twenty-four-year-old Connor Cobalt is a guy who bulldozes weak men. Hes confident, smart-as-hell and lives with his equally ambitious girlfriend, Rose Calloway. Connor has to find a way to protect Rose without ruining the show. Or else the producer will get what Connor has always wanted—Roses virginity.
This New Adult Romance can be described as Friends meets The Real World. Expect fist fights, drugs, sex of varying degrees, crude humor and competitive alpha males. Definitely for mature readers audiences only

My Thoughts

Kiss The Sky is a standalone and the first book of the spin-off of Addicted Series, having in consideration that I havent read the previous series I can say that it could work perfectly if you havent read them yet. I never felt like I need more that what it was telling me and I understand very well every one of the characters without backgrounds. For what Id read from others reviews, the lead characters in this book, Rose & Connor, had always been flawless in the other series, so it was time for them to have their own book.

This book split between Rose and Connors POV. It started with Connor, who tells us three main situations that marked him for life. Then, Rose comes through to explain the entire reality show situation and what she wanted so much that happens.

“ive wanted so many things in my life, he says softly, “but youre the one that has meant the most to me"
Rose and Connor cant be addressed separately, theyre together are an entity and its just difficult to think one without the other. But I love Connor so much; hes so attractive but hes also smart, hes the one who settle down everyone in the room, the one who think everything very carefully before take a decision. Hes funny and lovely, and care about Rose very much. Their complement each other so much like when Rose become the crazy bitch he calm her down, as well as when Connor needs someone to trust she is there for him.

I like Rose very much; I can say that she is just the female alter ego of Connor. Theyre just so similar. Rose cares about everybody, she would do anything to protect her sister no matter what, and also protect Connor for whatever he need to be protected. But she wants to succeed too, to compete, to fit, to be the one. Its not like both of them wants to be better than everybody because of selfishness, theyre just like that. Theyre honest about how ruthless they are but they also would sacrifice for everybody they care about.

"Rose Calloway couldnt stand me because of what i was-a guy who wanted to reach the top. the irony was that she wanted the same thing. she just wasnt willing to do what i was to get there.”
There are also other characters that I love very much; Lily and Lo were wonderful, their relationship is so beautiful, and I like how they both help each other to overcome their addiction and become better for their family and themselves. Ryke was great but wasnt my fav characters, I wont say that I dislike him at all, because he made me laugh so much with his dirty mouth and the things he did but it wasnt the best to all of them. Daisy reminds me the little Jennel, Kendall and Kylie. Those kids dont know what to do, theyre models and actress but they dont live a life like normal kids but are treating like another adult, which shouldnt be.

Although, I thought when I pick up this book that it would be a shallow book, another normal story with rich kids, it actually was very different. Its was more about the Behind the Scenes than the reality show itself, and that shows how not everything that it shown on the tv is real.

When he looks up at me, he says, “Thank God for Connor, right?” He tries to play off the pain that contorts his face.
“God always has a way of stealing my credit,” Connor says.

Overall, this was a book full of life lesson and a breathtaking love story. Very fun, delightful and emotional. Enchanting characters and brilliant plots. Kiss the Sky going to make you laugh, cry and smile.
